Celebrated contemporary artist Vivan Sundaram hailed KBF for its democratic vision in organising the Students’ Biennale, which he termed as a vital link between art education and practice.

“It creates a point of connect to the world of high art from the ground up. It fills the vacuum that most art students find themselves in after graduation,” he said, speaking at the Biennale Pavilion inCabral Yard after inaugurating the second edition of the Students’ Biennale.

Deepika Sorabjee, Senior Programme Manager, Tata Trusts, who was also present during the inauguration, said the Students’ Biennale was one of the key entry points into the art and culture outreach efforts of Tata Trusts.
